Restore video preview for accounts over the storage limit

Previously, Dropbox allowed video preview even when an account exceeded its storage limit. I would like to request that this behavior be restored.

Video preview is a basic viewing feature that lets users access content they have already uploaded. Disabling it does not increase the effectiveness of storage limits—it only makes the service less convenient to use.

While videos can still be downloaded, downloading a file every time just to watch it is not a practical replacement for instant preview.

Restoring video preview would not provide additional storage or bypass storage restrictions. It would simply improve the user experience while keeping the existing storage limits in place.

I hope you will consider bringing back this functionality.
