I've tried installing, deleting, and re-installing Dropbox multiple times now, and I continue to get this error. I've restarted my computer multiple times, deleted all traces of Dropbox in AppData/ and I've tried renaming existing files and saving the new dropbox folder in different areas, nothing seems to be working. I am…
I have tried numerous times to download the Dropbox app to my computer, and it does not appear. I can do to Dropbox and access it there. What am I doing wrong?
Your desktop client for macbook is confusing and poorly designed: - it only sometimes shows the amount of time left on an upload. - The upload progress bar rarely works, see attached, showing an indeterminate progress indicator i.e. "throbber". - In this example it says its syncing 4 files when I only put one in. - It…
Suddenly, I cannot upload anything to my Dropbox folder (I only use the site, not an app), even basic small text files. All uploads are failing despite plenty of space remaining. Help!
I'm using a Mac with MacOS 26 (Tahoe). I recently accessed my Dropbox folder for the first time in a couple of years, and I got a message that I'm using more than my quota of Dropbox storage. I dug around some more and found that the entire Documents folder on my Mac has been uploaded to Dropbox. I never intended this to…
I have a Dropbox Plus - 2TB account and my trouble is that I can't find dozens of photos that I'm sure I didn't delete as I've deliberately never synced my photo folders with any computers or smart devices: they have always been only online/in cloud. Anyway I checked the deletion history for the last 30 days, made the…
Hello, after moving my Dropbox folder from C:\ to D:\ on my PC (Windows 10), I got the error message "couldn't start Dropbox" together with the following detailed error message: bn.BUILD_KEY: Dropboxbn.VERSION: 250.4.3245bn.constants.WINDOWS_SHELL_EXT_VERSION: 90bn.is_frozen: Truemachine_id:…
Existing Dropbox account was under a work email; shifted this across to personal email (needed to secure content immediately), with a view of opening a second account under the work email at a later date. Am now at that later date, but Dropbox will not allow a new account using my name and work email, and defaults back to…
I have the message to clean up my space. It tells me to delete things, which I am happy to do. However, I have to try multiple times to get anything to delete and permanently deleting is grayed out. I have done all the usual stuff; closed browser, restarted computer, cleared cache, and used incognito window. Not sure what…
I've long had a 2T individual plan for organizing family info. But I am not able to share access to any of the files with my wife, since she has an unpaid plan (I assume). When she logs into her account she never sees anything I have shared. So I now upgraded to a Family plan, and she is now a member. When I go to move any…
Would be amazing open some markdown files and have option to see the reader view not just the raw file.
To have the ability to either delete individually or clear list of viewed links. Currently have links containing sensitive information received from others that i can't clear or alternatively, lots of dead links
Facial recognition would be a useful tool in Dropbox. My Dad recently died and I had to quickly find photos of him for the funeral. I used Google Photos for this which has a photo recognition function but I have more photos in Dropbox so would have liked to have been able to search through my Dropbox files too.
Please add the option to color label single and multiple folders on web. Thanks!
