Currently there isn't an option within the File Requests to change the ownership of a request or to transfer the ownership to another member.
This becomes a very serious issue if the original owner of the file request leaves the company. We have multiple levels of workflows and users assigned to a File Request, and to re-create the request can become a very involved process and negatively impacts the team since we can't simply assign a new "owner" of the file request.
I first submitted this request in April 2024 (Ticket #23554808) and I'm surprised that two years later this important feature is still missing.
This is an ongoing issue, for myself and many others in your community (as documented in the comments). Two years ago I added this common need, onto an existing thread in the support community (after receiving zero help from support):
