I can’t create a new shared link on Dropbox; I get an error.
For some reason now, I’m getting an error message trying to share a file or folder from my Dropbox. I have the Basic account and therefore no support from Dropbox. I have tons of files I need to have access to share or to be able to recover them and move to a friendlier service. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Users can't access shared link without being asked to sign up or sign in
When I go to to task bar on PC select Dropbox, then Folders Naqviagte to folder then right click 'create Dropbox link' If I share that the recipient, can't see files, they get a login screen asking them to create a DropBox account Can you avoid this, as they are not allowed to add apps to computers
