I am having the same issue, deleted both the
files app and the Dropbox app on my iPad, reinstalled both of them, and Dropbox files/folders not showing up on my files app… other than deleting and reinstalling, I have no idea how to clear my cache on those apps

Since the original thread you posted in was a bit old, I moved your comment to a thread of its own.
Regarding your issue, just to make sure we have the correct settings, can you make sure the feature in question is enabled on your iPad?
You can follow the steps here, to make sure.
Also, to clear the cache on the Dropbox app, you'll need to open the app, tap on "account", then on the gear icon and then on "clear cache".
