I use Dropbox at work but cannot install the app due to Admin limitations.
Would be great to be able to set some folders/files in Grid view and others in List view rather than having all folders and files appear either in list or Grid.

Yes, its annoying to have to flip the view when moving between folders! For folders with files, I prefer a list view, but for photo folders I prefer the grid. Great suggestion!
