I really like that Camera Uploads renames photos with the date and time they were taken. I use the uploaded files as my originals, and the date-based names make them easy to sort and find. I would not want to lose that. The problem comes when I share photos from the phone with an AI assistant (an LLM), which I do often,…
Dear Dropbox, in shared-link folder views, please show total folder size and file count before adding or downloading, so recipients can verify a delivery is complete. Thanks a bunch!
Dear Dropbox, in Dropbox file preview on dropbox.com, please include visible timestamps when using “Copy transcript” or copying transcript text, not just the spoken text. Thanks a bunch!
The Problem:When uploading multiple files via the web browser interface, users currently have no way to set a custom order or prioritize which file gets uploaded first in the queue. Real-Life Context & Use Case:As a filmmaker and long-time Dropbox user of 15 years, sending heavy footage directly through the browser is a…

Currently, there are external websites that offer this feature, but…
Hi! I’d like to submit a formal suggestion for Dropbox to add Catalan as an interface language on the website, desktop app, and mobile app. As a Dropbox user, it would be very valuable to me and all Catalan speakers to be able to use the service in our language.
Please add an option for Dropbox File Requests to automatically send a confirmation email to every submitter after a successful upload, whether they have a Dropbox account or not. Ideally, this would be a toggle the requester can enable per file request. We receive hundreds of submissions, and I receive almost that many…
