Bring back export files feature

When sharing files you used to be able to text or email the actual file and not just a link. You would choose export and then would be given the option to share a copy of the actual file or the link. With the scammers having so many digital link click bait links it's not very trust worthy to just send a link. It is one of the main functions I use regularly besides automatic camera uploads. What is the purpose of having a premium plan if it doesn't work for the reasons one needs it to work?

You still can. On Android select Share, then Export and select the your email app. On iOS select Save to device, then select your email app.

Both will result in the file directly attached to a blank email message.

I used to be able to directly export the files. Now it is only a link. Alot of recipients are not clicking the link for fear of scams or viruses. Please bring back the export option.

Hi @Micheala S., @WayneP, to follow on from @Rich, this article has these steps you need to follow in order to save files from the Dropbox mobile app to your device.
