Hey team,
I've been loving Dropbox Replay on a couple of recent film scoring projects. It really helps me stay organized, and everything feels really smooth and well integrated. Great job!
The Pro Tools integration via the SDK is equally impressive, but unfortunately it’s not useful to me in its current state. For example: I’m working on a feature film that’s 90 minutes long. If I’m sharing my music for a single scene, I would typically only export, for instance, from minute 52. However, the comment timestamps in Replay are calculated from the start of the exported segment, resulting in a 52-minute offset in this example.
It would be incredibly helpful if we could assign a timecode offset to each clip, so we can tell Replay where it should start counting time, so to speak. The exported comments would then align perfectly with my existing Pro Tools session.
What do you think?
