Delayed camera upload

It would be very helpful to have an option to delay automatic camera uploads.

Right now, photos are uploaded immediately, which means I often have to delete unwanted photos twice – first on my phone and then again in Dropbox.

A delay (or temporary queue/“review before upload” option) would make it much easier to sort and remove unwanted photos before they are uploaded.

Also, nowadays phones process the image between 2-8 seconds, so often times the blurry unprocessed image gets uploaded to Dropbox which is nonsense.

Hi @Oula, thanks for sharing the idea!

I’ll open this up for community voting to see how much interest there is in a feature that delays or schedules uploads, giving people a bit more time to sort photos or let on-device processing finish first.

For now, you can always manually delay by turning camera uploads off, then turning them back on when you’re ready: https://help.dropbox.com/create-upload/camera-uploads-overview
