with the latest update the file list font and arrangement are very nice but prefer the Star to be like before, off to the right, alone, large and very easy to see. This new version with it being a smaller font gets lost in the format as you have to much harder. Before is was so quick as it stood out. Alternatively, adding…
The Problem:When uploading multiple files via the web browser interface, users currently have no way to set a custom order or prioritize which file gets uploaded first in the queue. Real-Life Context & Use Case:As a filmmaker and long-time Dropbox user of 15 years, sending heavy footage directly through the browser is a…
Searching for a term I know is in the filename returns thousands of results, pictures, spreadsheets, anything but the file that includes the search term in its name. "Most relevant" puts dozens of the most obscure matches at the top of the search. It is always a frustrating experience to search for a file that I know has a…
Dropbox Fax stores local data (like confimations of faxes sent) in a HelloFax folder in Dropbox root folder. That is prime real estate and you should be able to change the default folder location to anywhere within your Dropbox.

Currently, opening a Markdown (.md) file in the Dropbox mobile app only displays the raw text code. Markdown has been a web and documentation standard for many years, used universally across platforms like GitHub, Notion, Obsidian, and forums. With the rise of AI/LLMs, notes and generated content in .md format are more…

I think that functionality is good for a lot of use cases (creates a repository of the edits), but having the ability to…
Many professionals rely on Finder's Date Modified column to quickly identify active projects. Currently, Dropbox desktop updates or metadata refreshes can cause thousands of folders to receive the same "Date Modified" timestamp, even though the folder contents have not changed. This effectively wipes out one of the most…
