Preserve Document Sizes in Dropbox Sign

We commonly use US letter (8 1/2 x 11), Legal (8 1/2 x 14), and Ledger (11 x 17)) sized documents in our everyday operations. Dropbox Sign squishes everything into a letter size document and the file is permanently distorted into letter size, as seen both in downloads and printing. We are being forced to utilize a competing digital signing platform for those specific documents, decreasing efficiency and requiring a second limited membership with another platform. It would be incredibly helpful if Dropbox Sign preserved the original document size to alleviate both disruption to workflow and additional cost.

I checked with the team, and the editor currently standardizes page sizes for display, so non-Letter documents may appear resized while you’re preparing the request.

For downloaded completed documents, the original size may be preserved in some cases, but it isn’t guaranteed. This can depend on the document itself and how fields are placed. One thing you could try is the setting to not merge signed documents, which downloads the signed files and audit trail separately in a ZIP instead of combining them into one PDF. This may help in some cases, though it depends on your workflow.

We can see why having more control over document sizing would be useful here, so I’ll open this idea up for community voting. For anyone else who’d like to see more options around document sizing in Dropbox Sign, please upvote and share how this would help your workflow.

Thank you, @Keith. Our settings are already set to not merge signed documents. We haven't experienced the downloaded documents original size to be preserved so far. Thank you for opening this up to voting.
