Currently, opening a Markdown (.md) file in the Dropbox mobile app only displays the raw text code.
Markdown has been a web and documentation standard for many years, used universally across platforms like GitHub, Notion, Obsidian, and forums. With the rise of AI/LLMs, notes and generated content in .md format are more widespread than ever.
Proposed Solution:
Add a "Preview / Rendered" toggle when opening .md files in the mobile app, allowing users to view formatted text (bold, headings, tables, bullet points) as well as the raw code.
