The claude dropbox connector allows for a lot of functions between dropbox and claude. Right now, if I want it to edit a file on my dropbox, it has to essentially copy and replace it with a new file.
I think that functionality is good for a lot of use cases (creates a repository of the edits), but having the ability to edit some text files would be really useful. I would like to request that the claude dropbox connector add the ability to edit text (.txt) files, markdown (.md) files and script files (.py, etc…). This would allow more of a co-work environment.
Right now, the google drive connector allows for editing of google docs, but no additional document types. This would give dropbox a leg up on functionality like this.
The easy workaround is to copy and edit the old document and add it to a new document. But the ability to edit would really be a clean process that I would love to have.
Thanks,
Joe
