File Request from Any Folder, Online or on Desktop

Setting file request locations are a burden. Right now, to change the location of stored file requests, it takes over a minute or so to locate the subfolder on our project directory. Even if it didn't take that long, we should be able to make a file request, from online sub-folder or using windows explorer for a windows desktop, and create a file request from the location we are presently at within dropbox. It would be far more efficient to do that.

To create a new File Request for a subfolder, navigate to that folder, click New and click then select Send file request

Currently, there isn’t a better way to change the location of an existing File Request.

Hi @mikeshick, and thanks @yuzhoudbx for jumping in and explaining how to make a File Request directly to a folder via web.

Since this feature already exists on the web, give it a try and let us know if it fits your workflow. If you have any more ideas to improve how storage locations for File Requests are managed, we'd love to hear them.
