I've received an email from dropbox subjected you deleted 57109 files from dropbox. Where can I confirm I marked these files for deletion?
For some reason now, I’m getting an error message trying to share a file or folder from my Dropbox. I have the Basic account and therefore no support from Dropbox. I have tons of files I need to have access to share or to be able to recover them and move to a friendlier service. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Not sure what happened it worked fine all these years. Now when clicking on sharing a file or folder I get a white empty box with the dropbox logo on the left upper corner. Not sure what is going on. I need to use that feature for my clients. Thanks,
Longtime user, first time caller. I got a new computer a couple of weeks ago and I've noticed when I try to save audio files (I'm a radio producer) it gives me error messages if Dropbox is syncing the previous file I saved. This was never an issue before (and still isn't) on my old computer. I'm used to rapidly cutting and…
Hello, I had been using the quick actions on screenshots seamlessly for months. But since the latest update, it shows an error saying "WebGL not supported on your browser". I know my GPU is old, (nVidia GE Force GT 730), but WebGL works perfectly fine for all other apps, and had been working just fine for Dropbox…
I keep trying to add people to a folder and am getting "There was a problem completing this request"
I understand that the Dropbox folder/location itself should not be shared on a network. What I'm trying to find out is if it will cause any technical difficulties to network share a folder that is in Dropbox. My example is that I would have a folder named Shared in my Dropbox that I share on my local network as a Windows…
Hi everyone, I’m looking for some guidance regarding files that were deleted from my Dropbox account and are now beyond the standard 30-day recovery period for Basic plans. These files are extremely important to me, and their deletion was unintentional. I’m aware of the retention policy, but I wanted to ask if anyone has…
I have an active project folder, about 1TB, set to selectively sync and make all files available offline. The 4TB drive on which I'm working is dedicated to this project and has 3TB of additional free space. Despite all of this, once or twice a week, Dropbox will de-sync every single file and folder in the project, leaving…
Hi, I recently downloaded a music production plugin on my MacBook M1 Pro, and the ‘/Library/Application Support/Synapse Audio’ folder (which contains the plugin's presets) isn't syncing with Dropbox. First of all, I don't understand why I need to sync files in the Library folder, since the backup I have set up on my Mac…
I've been a part of the Dropbox community since its launch in 2008. I love it and use it EVERYDAY. One frustration that continues to bother me is the lack of URL shorteners. For a company as large and capable as Dropbox, I don't get it. I have to pay (Bit.ly) for my short links and it is just a pain to go outside of the…
Version stacking process should be simplified. Currently, you have to select the file > go to the drop down menu > select "new version" > choose the directory > select the new file > click "upload." This is very time consuming when working with 100's of images with multiple versions. Ideally, I would drag and drop all the…
Currently there isn't an option within the File Requests to change the ownership of a request or to transfer the ownership to another member. This becomes a very serious issue if the original owner of the file request leaves the company. We have multiple levels of workflows and users assigned to a File Request, and to…
Please add the option to color label single and multiple folders on web. Thanks!
Would be amazing open some markdown files and have option to see the reader view not just the raw file.
