Can I retrieve permanently deleted files if I choose to upgrade my account?

Hi, currently using basic account which had some files that were recently permanently deleted. (Just passed 30days I believe).

However I read that the higher tier dropbox plans allows for deleted files to be retrievable (up to within 180 days).

Is there any chance if I were to upgrade my plan, those files could be retrieved?

No. Upgrading doesn't extend the recovery period for files that have already been deleted. Only files deleted after the upgrade have a longer recovery period.

Also, permanently deleted files are deleted... permanently, and cannot be recovered regardless of the plan you're on.
