Someone shared ownership of one of their folders with me. Then I needed a bunch of file storage space for myself, so I deleted one or two of their large video files with the intention of restoring it afterward. But when I went back, I tried to move my files out of Dropbox, thinking that it would free up my own storage, but it never did give me back any storage. Then I accidentally left this task only to lose track of the 30 days and return about Day 31 or 32 and now I can't find that deleted video(s) again.
- If it's a SHARED folder, wouldn't it have to alert the other owner(s) about the deleted files?
- Or would it just delete them on my end so I no longer have access PLUS just not delete it on her end, so she still has access?
- If it's truly deleted, can I still get Dropbox to find the deleted file(s) and restore them? I was only on the Basic plan, but now I just upgraded to Plus to get this feedback and possible access again. Is the 30 days a hard rule, or is it possible to get them back if I upgraded?
