I can’t remember if it was a beta release or not, but I definitely had access to Dash some time last year. I briefly played around with it (on the web, chrome extension, app) then forgot about it.
I’ve been trying to figure out some collaboration workarounds on other platforms using features that are available in Dropbox, then I remembered Stacks.
I still have the panel in my account via Dropbox web. The ones that I created still function, kind of. but I can no longer create new stacks. When viewing a stack, there’s the the “Ask Dash” button, which opens a pop up to “Get Dash”, but I get redirected to a “Join Waitlist” page. Did that and got an email confirmation of being on the waitlist. Within the “More” panel on Dropbox for web, Dash is positioned at the very top, indicating that this is a product/feature that I have access to. Only that it’s not.
(Will add screenshots to the post afterwards)
I did see that Dash is only available for Teams/Non-Individual plans now. So what’s the point of keeping these remnants all over the user-side when they are not functional and it all leads to dead ends?
(To be honest, I remember now that I didn’t put in too much time exploring Dash because I just knew it was going to be another Dropbox product discontinued lol)
