Hi, I need help! I initially signed up and upgraded the account onto a essentials plan with the yearly, cancelled before the trial ends on January 20th but now i need to send bulk emails but can't upgrade to the plus plan.

Since your Essentials trial is still active until January 20, your account is temporarily locked to that plan even though it is canceled. Once the trial fully ends, you should be able to upgrade to Dropbox Plus right away. If you need to upgrade sooner, Dropbox Support can help review your billing options.
