How do you delete your viewed links folder? There are no elipse dots and no need to keep the history.Shouldn’t there be a option to keep history or not?
Hello everyone, just wanted to provide a quick update on Viewed Links since its been a while since this thread was updated.
In the Dropbox mobile app, the Viewed links section that appears on the Home tab can now be hidden by using the built-in customization options. You cannot delete individual viewed links one by one yet, but you can remove the entire section from the Home view so it does not show up anymore. To do that you:
What is still not possible- You cannot individually delete single links from the Viewed links list. - There is no current feature to clear the history of viewed links while keeping the section.
Hey @Founderatkda, thanks for posting your question today!
Would you mind clarifying what you mean by "viewed links folder"?
If you can send me a screenshot of what you mean, while making sure you hide any personal info, it would be really helpful.
Thanks!
Hi @Founderatkda, could you try uploading the image via a desktop browser for us to assist further?
I had to reinstall the dropbox app, this removed previosly viewed file links, however i do not wish Dropbox to remember viewed files or to have them show up and unable to delete.
Any suggestions team ?
Thanks for the screenshot and the clarification, @Founderatkda.
At the moment there's no way to remove or hide this section from the Home tab of the Dropbox app.
I will however pass your feedback and comments along to our team, we appreciate you taking the time to post about it.
Let me know if you need anything else.

Most likely (though I can't confirm) it's device specific, since the person above says they were able to clear it by removing and reinstalling the Dropbox app on their device.
HI @JamesK30, currently there hasn't been any change regarding the recently viewed links on your account since the last post was made.
