We'd like to access my late father's Dropbox account

Hi there,

Some time ago, I opened ticket #23006764 regarding access to my late father's Dropbox account (Bernard […]).

Despite exploring every avenue available to us, we've hit a brick wall, so I wanted to reach out to the community again for advice. My mum and I are desperate to recover the family photos stored on his account. Any guidance on how we might resolve this would be greatly appreciated

From our records, I can see indeed that you had the same request here about a year ago.

If you haven't already, I'd encourage you to go through this Help Center article.

Other than that, can you please clarify if the Dropbox account in question was a paid one, or free? I'm mostly asking because if it was on the free Basic plan, it’s quite possible that it’s been deactivated due to inactivity in the meantime.
