I can't locate the "Find duplicates" command to delete some of my photos.

Hello.  I have followed instructions to find the "FIND DUPLICATES" command because you are about to delete my photos. That command does not appear when I click on Settings in my Photos.  If the command is not there, how do I search for duplicates????   I need help FAST!

Hi Cyndie,

Thanks for letting us know. I've looked into this and it could be a couple of things:

Are you a Basic user (free account)? If so, that would explain it as the "Find Duplicates" function is not available to free users.

Or are you on an individual account or a team account?

If you have a team account, click the settings icon next to a folder you have edit access to.

Keep in mind though, admins and members of team accounts can only find duplicates in the folders they have edit access to.

Yes, I have clicked on the gear.  There is no such Find Duplicates choice present.
