Visa 40% off offer not working. The price increases once I use my credit card.

I'm trying to use the Visa 40% off discount for Dropbox Plus. Clicking the link takes me to a checkout page showing the correct pricing. But as soon as I enter my card number, the price increases. Any idea why? I don't recall having Plus before, and am not sure how I'd check.

Oh, it's actually just sales tax. The recomputation before and after was confusing.

Keep in mind that this offer seems to only be redeemable by new Dropbox users and existing Dropbox Basic users only.

Let's check if you used to be part of a paid plan in the past. Can you kindly check this page, and let me know what it reports?

Can you also let me know the pricing you see before and after you input your billing info?

I do see a card there, which expired in 2023. Pricing before is 71.93/yr 5.99/mo, pricing after is 76.25/yr (6.35/mo). Which is nearly the same, but confusing.
