I’d like to clarify a few points here, so that we can log your idea properly.
Since you mention shared folders in the title, but shared links later on in your post, could you please let me know for which one of the two you’d like the additional security?
On a similar note, would you like the recipient to not be able to share the content with the rest of the team members or with external users, outside of the team, like you mention in the title?

If you're an admin of a Dropbox team, you should be able to manage external sharing from your admin console and basically disable sharing links externally.
