Please help me to recover my data.
I would like to upgrade to any level if you can support me...
I am Japanese but trying in English because I have seen all the message in English so please forgive my language.
I was gonna update my plan but I did not do it because I thought what If I do upgrade and that cause break up my files…
So before I do anything, I wanna hear your advise.
Please help me with this one I would so appreciate it and starts from now, I will use your service to back my laptop data…
Literally ALL MY DATA IS GONE but the file I uploaded into drop box is Receipt and Invoice that I have to get reimbursed from many companies.,,
I am so sad that I lost my all data from laptop but at least, drop box’s data I can recover, I can still survive my life…
My account is still BASIC PLAN and this is what happened.
【What happened】
1)I have been using an M1 Mac and always saved invoices and receipts in a local folder of drop box, thinking it was all syncing with the cloud.
2)I recently bought an M3 Mac and migrated all my data. It's a long story, but all my data has disappeared from both the old and new laptops.
3)I looked for a data recovery company and spent 4,000 USD trying to recover the files, but it didn’t work. Of course, I won’t be getting that money back since I paid for the service.
4)However, I remembered that all my invoices and receipts were saved in the local Dropbox folder, so I logged in. I found that data up to 2024 April of this year was synced and still in the cloud, but anything after that is gone.
5)If there's a way to recover the files I uploaded until around October 15, 2024, after the upgrade, I will upgrade immediately.
I would be truly grateful if you could bring a glimmer of hope to my devastated life.
