That's how it's supposed to work. When you join someone's Business team account what you're actually doing is merging your account into theirs, and using one of their licenses. Basically, they became the owner of your account. Because of this, you receive a prorated refund for any time remaining on your account.
Later, when you're account is removed from the team and converted back to a personal account, it has the Basic plan. In order to get your subscription back you just need to resubscribe to Essentials.
Hi @vikanova, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Do you see any confirmed payments (with an invoice and receipt) on this page on your account?Did you upgrade via the Dropbox site directly, or via the mobile app? According to your bank statement, were you charged by Dropbox, iTunes or Google Play?
This will help me to assist further!

In addition to what Jay asked, are your files still in your account? Do you see any file activity on your Events page?
Hello Jay, I do see a confirm payment and 3 invoices. I upgrade via the Dropbox site.
Yes I do and yes they are
And what do the invoices show exactly @vikanova?
Hello, I have uploaded a screenshot of the invoice. My issue was I had my own account with a subscription, I was than invited to join someone else Dropbox and it took me out of my personal Dropbox, and I lost the subscription when I converted my account back to personal.
I also added another screenshot where I went from Dropbox Pro to Dropbox Essentials
