Running out of space on your Dropbox account but don’t want to move to a different plan? Good news! Eligible Dropbox customers can now purchase additional 1TB storage add ons, making it even easier to get the extra space you need 🧑💻.
New: Purchase 1TB Storage Add Ons
Whether you’ve filled your account with photos, videos, work files, or a bit of everything, you can now purchase extra storage without changing your plan.
💭 A few things to keep in mind:
- Storage add-ons can only be purchased on dropbox.com.
- If your plan was bought through Google Play or the App Store, you can’t buy storage space add-ons.
- Some eligible accounts may be able to purchase more than one 1 TB add-on.
- Your additional storage is available immediately after purchase. You'll be charged a prorated amount until your next billing date, after which it'll renew alongside your existing subscription.

More ways to get extra storage space on your Dropbox account
If you're using Dropbox Basic, you start with 2 GB of free storage. One of the easiest ways to get more free space is by inviting friends, family, or coworkers to Dropbox through the referral program. 🎁
Upgrading your Dropbox plan is the easiest way to get significantly more storage. Dropbox Plus includes 2 TB of storage. If you're working with a team, you may also want to consider a Dropbox Advance or Enterprise plan which start with 5 TB of shared storage.
