I deleted my friend's folder by accident in November. Can it be restored?

My friend gave me Can Edit permissions on her Dropbox Plus account, and on 13th November 2025 I deleted the entire folder (I thought I was making space on my laptop).

Dropbox Plus has a 30 day recovery window, it's now January 2026 - is there any hope I can recover these now? It wasn't her fault!

YOU won't be able to recover those files. Whether or not she can would depend on the options available on her account. 30 days is the standard recovery for a Plus account, but if she was already subscribed to the Extended Version History add-on, that would be extended to 1 year.

Note that if she didn't already have Extended Version History at the time of the deletion, purchasing it now will not help. It's not retroactive.
