Trying to move everything out of Dropbox to iCloud. Where are these files stored?

Question

Trying to move everything out of Dropbox to iCloud. Using hotspot from iPhone to PC. Anything over a few kb throws a “network error”. Moved to my iPad (hot spot there too). Tried “make available off line” for a few files/photos, took hours but did not throw a network error. So WHERE did it store those at? As said, my goal is to move everything out of Dropbox to iCloud, I just don’t need both services anymore, and if you have an Apple device, as we know, you WILL BE tied to iCloud.

They're located in an application specific storage area that isn't user accessible outside of Dropbox. If your intent is to move the files to another server, you can't do it that way. You would need to export the files to your device, then they would be accessible wherever you saved them. You can even save them directly to iCloud by exporting them to the Files app, where you can select iCloud as the save location.
