MP4 Videos on Dropbox not playing correctly on iOS Devices

Uploaded MP4 Video files to Dropbox via desktop browser. Once uploaded, the files play perfectly via desktop browser. However, on both iPhone and iPad Dropbox apps, the video isn't playing properly, even when downloaded for offline access. The sound is fine, but the video stutters quite badly. Any idea what's going on?

Hey @Tyler5, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

 

I just tested this on my device and the previews of .mp4 files work as normal for me.

 

Do you have the most recent version of the Dropbox app installed (currently 304.2.2)?

 

If you save a video file to your device, to play with the device's native media player, what do you see?
