No place to enter emergency code to log into my old Dropbox account

Question

I have an old account associated with an ntlworld.com email address that no longer exists. I have the password and I have (amazingly) found the emergency codes. However there is nowhere to add the emergency code - I just get straight to the survey, which I can't get past as the account is so old.

Surely if I have the user name, password and emergency code I can regain access?

Hi there, @CloudNest27, thanks for taking the time to post here!

Just to jump in and confirm what was already mentioned above by @Mark: Dropbox accounts that remain inactive for over a year are typically closed and deleted due to inactivity.

Because the account has been deleted, standard recovery methods no longer work, which is why you're stuck in the survey loop. Unfortunately, once an account is closed due to inactivity, it can't be reopened or recovered.

Thanks Mark, Ntlworld stopped with no warning. I was just forwarding it then so didn't realise it had gone for a while.

The account will have been deleted them I'm afraid - they send multiple emails saying that accounts are going to be removed, but, these do often fall in to trash.

As a side note, thanks for making me try and work out when NTLWorld emails stopped working (I'm also UK) as I've just seen VirginMedia O2 are scrapping emails…. my folks wont have realised that bit!
