All folders and files are missing from my account

Question

When I logged into my account today, all of my files and folders were missing. I only have one account, and I can see it was created in 2016. I only use the online version, and I last logged in within the past 60 days.

Can you help me find out what happened and whether my files can be recovered?

I'll have to agree with Mark here.

If you see no activity in this account, can you check if you used another email address to create another Dropbox account, even accidentally?

I know you mentioned this is your only account, but can you search any other email addresses for emails coming from Dropbox, just in case?

This should reveal if you have another account you don't know about.

I did take a look at the sharing and events pages and those do not show any activity.

You are almost certainly on a different account to what you are expecting then. The activity log at Events lasts 180 days or so.

Try just checking emails to see if you can find any emails from Dropbox and remember that things like GoogleMail.com and GMail.com would be one email at the Google side, but, create 2 accounts here.

I logged into the account roughly 90 days ago. I did take a look at the sharing and events pages and those do not show any activity.  The folders are not shared.
