I have a business dropbox free plan that I was given automatically by the company I work for and a personal free dropbox. I was charged $119. How can I get this refunded?
Welcome to our forum, @Ptremie. It sounds like you may have a third Dropbox account for which you’re currently being billed. Can you check your bank statement and see if there’s any reference to the App Store/Google Play Store next to your Dropbox payment? If there isn’t, I’d like you to use the 12-digit transaction ID linked to your Dropbox charges and paste it here. Let me know what you find, and we'll go from there.
No reference to App Store/Google play store. Reference [removed] there is also the number set below [removed] and it says San Francisco, CA $119.88
Thanks for the update here, @Ptremie.
Since we can't investigate this here on the Community, I sent you an email, so we can look into it privately.
I'll see you there!
I was charged $119.
Its worth just pointing out that Dropbox, like every company, cannot charge people unless its given the details to do so. OR, somebody has stolen your card details. So if you have a charge you've given them your details at some point usually as part of a free trial forgotten to be cancelled.
