When I add a View-only member to one file, why does my Member view count go to 1?

Question

Hi - I have a folder with three files and five edit-rights owners. I added a member who I want to be view-only to one file only. When I add their email to that file, the member count on the main folder for that file page shows Members: 1 , why doesn't it show 6?  Will the five edit-rights members have access to it?

So, you should be fine and the number will be updated once they open the files from their end as well @CosmicDebris.

These are all contents of the same shared folder - right   Yes,

Have the other members of the folder access the folder and that particular file at all yet?  No, I just uploaded it in the last hour, I haven't contacted them  
What do you see in the file preview on the website? The preview for all three looks correct - two MP4's and one XLXS.

When I hover over the member count (the Access column) for each, it shows the right users. Six for the first, and five for the bottom two.
