I previously submitted idea for Dropbox to offer option to open as a text file if it didn’t recognize the file extension. For a short time, I did get a dialog box offering to open as a text file. Worked very well, particularly for Arduino files .ino and .pde. It no longer works. As a programmer, there are an infinite number of text file extensions. Unless Dropbox is going to learn all possible extensions, let the user decide to open the file as text. The user knows what he needs.
