Dropbox API versions not supported by Salesforce any longer

Question or Issue

We are having an issue where we can no longer receive scheduled updates from Salesforce because our Dropbox API versions are below 45. Salesforce only supports API versions 45 or higher. I am on the current version of Dropbox for Salesforce (1.707), and this version utilizes many API versions for different portions of the Dropbox install, ranging from v30 through v59. This has been escalated to Dropbox engineering, but I'm currently hearing they are not releasing any new api updates for Salesforce. I'm wondering if other users are in the same situation as me, or if other Dropbox for Salesforce users are on v1.707 and somehow have API versions all above 45, and are not experiencing any issues with Salesforce updates. Any feedback is appreciated!

I just wanted to mention that I've found your ticket in our system and passed your comments on. Apart from that, I can also see that the expert who's looking into your case replied back to you, so I'd recommend getting back to them directly with any additional questions you may have.

Dropbox support is now telling me that they have discontinued development and support for their Salesforce integration. They did this with no EOL notifications which is very disappointing. It is unfortunate that Salesforce users will no longer be able to utilize their integrations with Dropbox. I'm currently looking for alternative solutions as to not interrupt our business processes. If anybody has found any that integrate well with Salesforce, please let me know.

I'm in the same boat as you. Have you identified another solution to replace the Dropbox integration inside of SF? I was looking at box.com but haven't tried them yet. Any info you have would be appreciated.

We haven't decided on what solution we'll be moving to. I'm guessing we'll be moving to OneDrive as it's part of our O365, and I'm unsure if we'll attempt to reconnect to Salesforce at this time. Best of luck with what you decide.
