Is it possible that my Dropbox account was accessed without my authorization?

My dropbox associated to my current email is no longer linked to this particular email. I contacted one of the people that I have shared folders with a completely different email is now associated to my name and account. Is also possibly using my CC to pay for the additional space that I have payed for in the past. How can I recover my account? I have screenshots showing the email now associated with my previous account. I dont really know where to go for help.

You need to contact support via http://www.dropbox.com/get_help and explain whats happened and provide information such as the card transaction ID if you have it from your payment info.

Ive looked there but cant find anything that would help get my account back. It currently associated to a stranger email(persona that probably hacked).
