When I send the signed pdf to others, they cannot check if the signature is true.
how can it be visible?
Thanks
Giorgio
Hi there @GCinciripini - thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to our Community!
I'm not quite sure I understand the issue you're facing. Could you elaborate a tad for me please?
Thanks!
Thank you.
More clear:
when I receive a pdf that includes a signature - added within Dropbox Sign -, there's not any evidence of that document is original and the signature was certified by Dropbox. Correct? Giorgio
You should be able to check if the document is signed or not on the Signatures page, Giorgio. Doesn't this work for you?
yes, only me!
If this document has been sent to other person, how this can check?
They should be able to see the signatures on the doc normally, Giorgio.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Yes, of can SEE the signature, of course. But they cannot be assured of the originality of it. Correct?
Hey @GCinciripini, can you take a look at this article and let me know if it helps?
I still don't understand, sorry!
1. I sign a document thanks to Dropbox Sign
2. I got a pdf file
3. when I send this file to others, who they can assured that the signature reported is by me? they can AUDIT that pdf?
I hope now I may be clearer (it would be easer if you could speak in Italian !!!) !
When a document has been assigned, the e-mail that informs the requester that has been completed prompts them to sign into their Dropbox account to access it @GCinciripini
Once the document is opened and/or downloaded, on the last page, they should see the audit trail. More specifically, it should show the following:
Title, File name, Document ID, Audit trail date format, status (signed, etc), along with the document history (when opened/signed and by whom along with their IP address).
I hope this information helps!
