When uploading a ProRes MOV with graphics to Dropbox Replay, we see a weird transparency grid during graphic transitions when full-screen graphics appear in the video - during playback.
Has anyone come across this issue before?
Hi @msacks, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you attach a screenshot showing what you're seeing, if this is possible, to understand what you're referring to?
This will help me to assist further!
Thanks for the screenshots, @msacks.
Do you see the same on different browsers or in private browsing as well?
Tried in private browsing on Chrome. Does the same thing
Hi from me too, @msacks. Is this happening for all ProRes videos you upload to Dropbox Replay?
If you upload a video, without using ProRes first, do you notice the same behavior?
This is purely a .MOV ProRes issue, the transparency grid does not display for h264
When using Dropbox Replay with an Apple ProRes video file, you may encounter a transparency issue, where parts of the video that should be opaque appear transparent. This glitch can interfere with the review process. A similar issue can occur with the BLUENRG-M0A, which, despite being Bluetooth 4.2 compliant, might have unexpected transparency or visibility problems during specific operations.[removed per Community Guidelines]
Hey @hqlsolutions - could you please clarify if you're using the Dropbox website to preview those files or if you're using another video player?
