I do not have backup code.
I'm still using my phone, but the problem is they do not send message to my phone (a Vietnamese location)
You were given backup codes when setting up the account - you have to tick to confirm you received them when setting up. You cannot proceed without them. Once you get back in download them immediately. If you ever lose your phone etc. and thus cannot receive texts there is no way, at all, to get around that without the codes. Your account becomes permanently lost.
If you dont have them and its still not working you need to contact support. Do so via www.dropbox.com/support. Do so while not logged in (possibly via an incognito window).

@biwaien123, can you let me know from which platform are you trying to sign in to your Dropbox account, when receiving this error? Is it on www.dropbox.com or are you trying to link a new mobile/desktop device?

No, not yet ! There are many people having the same issue. The dropbox system cannot send SMS to our primary phone number ! Not sure why !

You should email the dropbox team support and then they will instruct you how to solve the problem.
They may ask some questions to verify your account and then they will turn off the two-step verification.

I am having the same issue.
When I try logging into dropbox I get message as below. It was working fine 10 days back I never had an issue. All sudden now I am getting below error message.
I do not have backup code; Dropbox is not linked to any device. I do not have backup phone number. Please help! my ticket #19908374 Larry was looking into this issue none the of steps is given works for me . Please help!

I was able to locate your ticket number in the system, and I can see it’s been closed in the meantime. If you’re still unable to receive the 2FA code to your mobile device, I’d recommend logging a new ticket, so that our team is aware of this.
If you check your current ticket, do you see an option to open a new one perhaps as a follow-up?
