Could I ask how the standard plan activity log looks like? It says up to folder level which means that we can see activities up to sub-folder levels and not file level or is it only root folder level?
@Jay Thanks for the info! To clarify let's say I shared a link with someone to a shared folder and he previewed and downloaded files within the folder, would the Standard Plan not be able to capture such activities of previewed and downloaded files at all?
Where does one fin these logs in DropBox?
I see. So a log is only available if you have a Business Account. Personal accounts do not have logs or Audit Trails?
That’s correct, personal accounts don’t have any logs like that.
Great answer - very clear, thank you.
I would ask your colleagues at Dropbox not to be cynical with audit.
Deleting files is a simple and important use case. Dont use this fact to force people into a subscription they otherwise dont need. Today you have moved me closer to a strategy involving Google's Drive product.
