I am not happy with the recent change in the Dropbox mobile app that displays modification dates beneath file and folder names. It suddenly appeared today with no notice or explanation, and it does not appear to arise from an app update.
This additional information clutters the interface, wastes valuable screen space, and makes browsing through files and folders unnecessarily cumbersome. There seems to be no way for users to hide this information.
The previous, cleaner presentation was much easier to use. I hope the Dropbox product development team will reverse this change or at least give users the option to hide unnecessary and unwanted information.
