I haven't logged in to my account in a long time and some files are deleted - can I restore them?

Hi there! I haven't used my dropbox in a long time (due to having kids) and I recently logged in and realized that a lot of the files have been deleted by the server. I'm on a free account right now. Is there any hope for getting these back? This is one piece of activity off one of my folders for example:

Apr 9, 2026DSDropbox Server deleted Sample Presentation-Simple Design.ppt4:04 PM • in Graphic Design

I'm really sorry to hear about your files.

I'm afraid that since it's been that long, there's not much we can do on our end, as the files would have been deleted from our servers by now.

You can check out this page, to see if you have any devices still connected to the account, in case you can find any local copies of your files there.

Also, if you have any older devices that might have previously been connected to your account, they might be worth checking as well.
