I'm in the EU and legally here we have 14days to retract when we order something online, wether it's goods or plans. I did suscribe for a dropbox plan but almost immediately cancelled. I did the refund request same time.

That was about a week ago. Not sure why it's only now i see their "reply" which says like "before proceeding to refund i'd like to remind you that your account will be downgraded to 2GB…

Which is already the case since i cancelled the plan! So basically trying to fool me and make me loose time (and money). Was told by people dropbox isn't easy to deal with and i feel like i was scammed now!

What does your plan say at www.dropbox.com/account/plan ? Remeber that refunds back to cards usually take 3 - 5 working days.

As @Mark said, when a refund is processed by the system, it can take 3-5 business days depending on the bank or payment method.

Do you see a refund receipt on this page on your account?

Hi all,

I am from India, and I have no clue how this works and it's very frustrating at this point.
I cancelled two Dropbox subscriptions and requested a full refund. Dropbox confirmed the refund was initiated, but it still hasn't reflected in my bank account after 3 months. My bank has asked me to confirm the transaction details directly with Dropbox.

I've also noticed a mismatch:

Billing page shows -258 USD
Invoice for the same transaction shows a different amount 139 USD

I'm not sure which figure is accurate, and this discrepancy is making it harder for my bank to verify the refund.

I've already tried [chat] without resolution. Could a Dropbox rep or moderator help me get this refund processed and clarify the amount mismatch? Happy to share account/transaction details via DM.
