My files got deleted permanently from "Deleted Files" - can I restore them?

Hello Dropbox admin, I would like to ask for help regarding my files that were deleted by Dropbox system this week and it hasn't been 30 days since the files were deleted by Dropbox system from the Trash folder, previously I subscribed to 2 TB of storage, I didn't have time to check my Dropbox account because I was busy, then today I checked and saw that my files had been permanently deleted by the Dropbox system, even though I wanted to renew my subscription for 2 TB, but knowing that my files were gone, I was very sad because they were very important files, can the Dropbox team restore the files? because I believe the files haven't been there for 30 days since they were deleted from the Trash folder by Dropbox, I believe they were deleted around the beginning of June 2026, and I plan to renew my subscription 2TB storage to be able to access files such as important documents, photos and videos of my wedding that I love so much. I really beg the Dropbox team to restore my files. Thank you.

Is it possible to free up some space in your Google Drive, so you can start receiving emails again? I'd like to send you an email, so we can investigate this internally.

Hello Hannah, thanks for reply my question, I'm sure I got e-mails from everyone, including email notification of file deletion from dropbox, but unfortunately I can't access my email because my google drive storage is also full which makes me unable to receive emails, and I only entrust my valuable files to be stored in dropbox, unfortunately because I forgot and was busy. today I just realized that I forgot to check the status of the files in my dropbox and it turns out that the files in dropbox have been permanently deleted because they exceed the quota, I plan to continue the 2 TB package but I was surprised to see my files were deleted in bulk, I'm sure the deletion was done around the end of May 2026, please help me.

Hey @Ownjenner, sorry to hear about your files.

If your files got deleted by Dropbox, due to your account being over its quota, you would have gotten quite a few emails notifying you of the situation. Can you send me a screenshot of the last email you received about the deletion?

Just make sure you hide your email address or any other personal info on the screenshot.

Can you also send me a screenshot of what you see on this page?
