Allow a team folder to be shared among other teams too, not just individuals.

Question

I currently switched to dropbox with multiple users as a team.

I have a lot of clients who are also working with dropbox team folders and need to share files with me and my whole team.

Currently it is not possible to share a teamfolder with a whole team. My clients need to share this folder with my whole team separately and this takes 5 times more storage on my account because the folder is 5x sync as an individuel shared folder.

Please make it work to have a shared teamfolder with a whole team when doing collabs.

This is not an awnser to my problem.

I do understand that a teamfolder can be shared. But currently it can not be shared with a whole team.

My clients want to share it with my whole team and not just with 5 different users (wich are part of the same team, but are seen as 5 individuals)

Also, because this same shared folder appears in the private folder of a team member, the storage get's calculated per user altough it is shared with 5 people of the same team.

Therefor i request a feature to make a "collab folder" where team A can share a folder with team B, automaticaly being a teamfolder for both and automatically adding all new members being part of team A or B.

As a first step, I'd suggest taking a look at this help center article which lists the difference between shared folders and team folders.

If your team consists of your team members and 3rd party accounts, the best route would be a shared folder.
