I stopped using Dropbox about a year ago, and when I recently tried to log back in, it asked for a 2FA code from an authenticator app that I had already deleted. Is there any way for me to recover access to my old account?

When you originally enabled and set up 2FA you were given a list of emergency backup codes that you can use to gain access to your account. If you no longer have those codes and you're not already signed in on another device, the options are limited and in most cases the account is lost.

The account is, I'm afraid, amost certainly lost.
The only people, however, who can help for sure are Dropbox via http://www.dropbox.com/support.
