Need to add more than 20 tags per file

Hi,

We want to be able to search our files in Dropbox using more than 20 tags to describe them. Is there a way to increase this limit? Or another workaround to be able to search any file using more than 20 "tags"?

We've tried adding a new file property using the API but it seems like we can't search files on Dropbox website by file property.

In the meantime, would the content search or the Dropbox Dash universal search feature help at all?

As for increasing the limit of tags you can use on your files in Dropbox, you can follow these tips to post it as an idea, so that other users can share their own thoughts and up-vote it to show their interest too.

Hey @Walter , thank you for your answer!

Unfortunately, we are storing video files in Dropbox so the content search would not work. I thought about adding a text file with the same name as the video file to be able to add as many tags as we want but we would need a way to quickly open the related video file. Do you know if we can add a link in the text file that would automatically open the video when we click on it?
