Thanks for using Dropbox! The desktop client is regularly updated with many improvements and fixes.

 

Fixed in this update:

• Fixed an issue where the Dropbox desktop app on Linux was stuck in “Connecting…”.
• Fixed a bug where failed installations displayed the wrong error codes.
• Fixed an issue preventing some users from running Dropbox in compatibility mode on Windows 10 & 11.
• Fixed an issue where Copy Link wasn’t working for shared folders.
• Fixed a bug that caused the app to sometimes not restart after an auto-update.
• Fixed an issue with an upgrade that was causing an extra scrollbar to appear on Windows.

BUG introduced with this version:  File renaming of Dropbox files (and ONLY Dropbox files) in Windows Explorer is messed up. Cannot position cursor to edit filename.

REPRO: After selecting 'rename' (via right-click, F2, or second-click), if you position the cursor to edit the filename (via mouseclick or arrow key) the entire filename will be reselected.  Thus, you cannot edit the filename, you can only replace it.

ENVIRONMENT: Windows 10 Pro.  Dropbox Stable Build 219.4.4463.
